We recently had the opportunity to compete in a Christmas Tree decorating activity at Young Living Lavender Farms where we competed against Payson, Mt. Nebo, and Juab FFA. Our FFA Officers really enjoyed the experience from planning and designing, to the last step of putting the topper on the tree for thousands of people to see. It was a great opportunity for us to shed some light upon our hidden talents in tree decorating and make Christmas just a little bit better for a family in need. We look forward to this activity every year!

Mrs. Harmer’s 9th grade world civilizations classes built a trench, were issued rations, and wrote letters home as if they were soldiers during World War 1 after learning about trench warfare.

They also learned about harsh conditions, diseases, and other hardships of trench life.
