Spring Captains Academy

Spring Captains Academy was a success!  Greg Nelson and Paden O Neal were able to attend and learn great lessons from some outstanding speakers.  They now have the opportunity to pass those messages along to their teammates.  We wish them both luck in their sports this spring!

Frog Dissections

Submitted by david.thacker on

For the past two days, Mrs. Mendosa’s seventh grade science class has been dissecting frogs.

The first day each class looked at the mouth, and students had lots of comments:

I asked Cael Cabreros from 2nd period, what he liked about the dissections.  “It was fun, and also it was educational,” he said.

When I asked Dallin Rust, from 6th period, what he did not like about the activity, he commented, “Taking out the tongue because it was rough and slimy.''
