Heya! Are you ready for 8th grade mathematics? I am so excited that you will be joining me on this journey this year. I have been teaching for six years and every year always offers something new...This one is a doozy! Let's meet this challenge together.  I loved every step of getting my Bachelors degree in mathematics (University of Texas at San Antonio) that I went ahead and got my Masters in Secondary Mathematics Teaching (University of Utah).

Spanish Fork Junior High New Bus Zone and Parent Drop-off

Submitted by david.thacker on

With the parking lot construction nearly completed at Spanish Fork Junior High we want to ensure that parents and guardians are aware of the procedure and location for dropping off and picking up students. The bus loading and unloading zone will now be on the North side of the school. Busses will enter the parking lot through a new bus lane that enters the campus from 600 East. They will then exit the same way. This new road is a bus lane only. The old bus lane on the East side of the school is now the student drop-off and pick-up location.

New Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Sarina Harkness

Hello! My name is Mrs. Harkness, and I am so excited to be teaching 7th grade English this fall. Of course, as an English teacher, I enjoy reading and writing. I find it difficult to choose a favorite book, but I've enjoyed a wide range of texts from Pride and Prejudice to Stargirl to The Hunger Games. As far as movies, I love pretty much all things Disney. I also love to eat sweet treats, especially ice cream and sour candies like Sour Patch Watermelons.
