Back in October, students and teachers helped Jacinda Dietrich, a social science teacher at SFJH, collect  books for a school in in Liberia, a country on the west coast of the African continent.  Ms. Dietrich had heard about the need for books through an organization she’d become connected with—Sustain Liberia.  Students and teacher collected over 500 pounds of books to send to the school.

This week students found out that the quarter ton of books they’d shipped finally made it to the school!

Big thanks to all that helped out, particularly Naomi Phillips and Julie Green. You guys rock!
