SFJHS now offers AP Human Geography, a class for 9th grade students who will prepare to take the AP Human Geography test at the end of the year. This college-level course is highly rigorous. In this course, students study systematic patterns and processes that shape human understanding.

Tracee Jones says, “I took AP because I want to learn more about the people all over the world and why they act or say or do what they do.” Alissa Simmons says, “I want to push myself. I have to admit, it has been challenging.” McCade Davis says, “It’s going to be a challenge, especially with other activities going on in my life, but I think I’m up for the challenge.”

This class is taught by Ms. Terry. It’s an exciting opportunity for our students here at SFJHS. Good luck to our first ever class of AP Human Geography!
