The 8th grade US History classes learned more about important inventions and machines designed during the first Industrial Revolution by making their own.  Using everyday items such as boxes, toilet paper rolls, and egg cartons, students fashioned their own devices. This hands-on experience will help them remember important innovations like the sewing machine, telegraph, and cotton gin.
