Mr. Brent Loveless 2.93 KB

Brent Loveless is an English teacher at Spanish Fork Junior High. He has been teaching for 26 years, with all but one year at Spanish Fork Junior High. Brent graduated from Southern Utah University where he majored in English and minored on Physical Education.

After graduating and teaching for a couple of years, Brent took some time off to work in fruit orchards in Payson. Everyone who knows him knows that his love of gardening has continued over the years. In fact, he has been known to grow all kinds of interesting and unique fruits and vegetables in his garden and greenhouse, just for the challenge of it. Many times, Brent will take what he has grown in his garden and cook or bottle it.

Brent has also been involved in athletics throughout his life. After playing on the basketball and baseball teams at Payson High School, he went on to play baseball at Southern Utah University. Since then, he continued to play for baseball leagues up through his forties. Another sport that Brent enjoys is golf. In fact, most of his summers are spent at Gladstan golf course in Payson. In the past, he has also coached the Spanish Fork Junior High boys’ golf team.

Finally, Brent is a father of 4 children and has 4 grandchildren as well. He enjoys camping in southern Utah, fishing, hunting geese and ducks, and playing cards. We are lucky to have Brent here at Spanish Fork Junior High.
