Last week FFA chapters across the nation celebrated National FFA week. Spanish Fork definitely went above and beyond.  We had a week full of activities, food, and service projects!  To start out the week, the Jr. High Officers spent the morning giving muffins to all faculty members to show our appreciation for being such great teachers and to thank them for knowing how to handle Jr. High students.

As school was coming to a close on Tuesday, Ms. Warren had a long list of students signed up to go ice skating.  Tuesday night we finally arrived and FFA chapters from all over the area ready to skate like crazy.  We’ve definitely have some professional skaters in Spanish Fork!

Wednesday came soon and officers from the jr. high and high school came together and worked hard for our banquet to be a success!  It definitely was!  Alumni, parents, friends, and past officers gathered together to eat dinner and talk about the good old days.  We ended the night with some sugar cookies and a super fun auction donated by anyone and everyone.

Most people that came to Thursday’s activity would have said that it was the most fun.  FFA members visited the Veteran’s Home and made many new friends.  The people they met there were definitely inspirational and entertaining.  It was an amazing experience for everyone!

I definitely love taking pride in the FFA.  So Friday, that’s what we did.  We awarded anyone in any of Ms. Warren’s classes who was wearing FFA apparel a treat!

FFA week was such a success!  Thank you to everyone who helped make it that way!  I can’t wait until next year!
