Frosh Rivalry Decided

Spanish Fork freshman hosted Salem Hills freshman for a hometown rivalry football game. Both teams were pumped for this contest. Spanish players had been talking smack all week before the game. They still have a reason to boast.

The final score was 48-13! Guess who won! Yep, you guessed it; Spanish Fork won by a mile. Eli Decker, a defensive end (the guy on defense that tackles the person with the ball) for Salem explained, “First half we kept up and second half we gave up.” His honesty shows in his comment “We weren’t prepared.”

Ryan Golish from the Spanish Fork team said, “All in all, we played really well.” Both teams are excited for their upcoming games.
