On Wednesday, February 20, the Honors Math classes at Spanish Fork Junior High attended the BYU Engineering and Technology Expo at BYU.  Students were able to visit interactive booths where they learned what kinds of math, engineering and technology opportunities there are.  They also toured three labs on campus:  Racing Lab, Unmanned Airplane Lab, and the Water Flume Lab.  Finally, students got to participate in Competitions like the Alka seltzer bottle rockets, the Egg Drop Competition, Windmill Construction, Gumdrop and Toothpick structures, the Marshmallow Challenge and running the Robot.  After the Expo, students ate at the Cougareat and then came home.
