Mr. Madsen will be new to Spanish Fork Junior High next year and will be teaching science. We asked Mr. Madsen to introduce himself and this is what he had to say:
"Hi! I'm Peter Madsen. I will be teaching 7th grade science this year. My dad was in the Air Force when I was a kid, so my family moved around frequently. I have lived in Washington, Guam, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Germany, and South Korea. I loved moving around, making new friends, and being exposed to different cultures and ways of thinking. My mom lived in Spanish Fork when she was young, so I feel a connection here too. I went to college at UVU and loved it. This will be my first year teaching and I can't wait!
I love nature, reading, candy, sports, motorcycles, and most of all, my family. My wife Becca and I have two beautiful little girls named Faye and Emery. We are a laid back family and love doing things together - hiking, swimming, going to the zoo, road tripping, and playing outside. I look forward to meeting all of you! We're going to have a great year together!"
