Mrs. Mendonsa will be new to Spanish Fork Junior High next year and will be teaching science. We asked Mrs. Mendonsa to introduce herself and this is what she had to say:

"My name is Heather Mendonsa and I am excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade science this year.  I graduated from BYU after majoring in Elementary Education.  This is my sixth year teaching in public school.  I also taught preschool for four years so I will be a familiar face to some.  I am married and have five children.  I have taught two of them so far.

By way of introduction, I love my summers. Summertime is always packed with vacation and new experiences.  This summer I rented a moped in Nassau, went parasailing, and snorkeled with a 007 style machine that enabled me to cruise underwater at great speeds.  I also went to Bear Lake with family and friends to camp and ride on wave runners.  When I'm not travelling I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and swimming.    I like to read and my favorite book to date is Counting by Sevens.

I love science and look forward to working at Spanish Fork Junior High School."
