Introducing Ms. Alyssa Christensen

Ms. Christensen will be new to Spanish Fork Junior High next year and will be teaching English. We asked Ms. Christensen to introduce herself and this is what she had to say:

"Hello, my name is Alyssa Christensen and I will be teaching 7th grade English this year.  I am so excited to be back in my hometown after studying English Education at Southern Utah University.  In addition to being from Spanish Fork, I am a proud SFJHS Lobo and an SFHS Don.  Becoming a teacher wasn’t something I dreamed of as a kid, but it is something that I found a true passion in over time.  Hopefully, my passion for teaching will translate into a passion for learning among my students.  Now I’m not one of those teachers who spend every moment thinking about teaching and as such, my summers and spare time are filled with family, friends, good music, and Dr. Pepper! If I’m not curled up with one of my favorite novels, you can probably find me singing along at a concert for one of my favorite bands.  This year will be so great and I am looking forward to meeting all of my students."
