Ms. Dietrich will be new to Spanish Fork Junior High next year and will be teaching Social Studies. We asked Ms. Dietrich to introduce herself and this is what she had to say:
"I am so excited to be joining the Spanish Fork Junior High team and teaching social studies!
I grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and graduated from Riverton High School. I attended Utah Valley University and studied History Education with an endorsement in Social Studies. I will be teaching US History I this year. I have a passion for history because it allows us to understand the world we live in, it’s not just about facts and dates!
I am an avid outdoor adventurer! I enjoy camping, hiking, canyoneering and most especially rock climbing. I love playing soccer and ultimate frisbee. I am addicted to travelling, my most recent adventure being Peru this summer. My favorite part of Peru would have to be when I got to hug a llama. I love reading almost any kind of genre, my favorite series is Harry Potter and my favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. My favorite movie is a three-way tie between Remember the Titans, The Little Rascals and The Sandlot. A fun fact about me is that I love jokes!"
