From the NEBO.edu website:

“Even during the Coronavirus pandemic, the Nebo Education Foundation met via Zoom  to discuss submitted educational grant proposals for students in Nebo School District. One of the goals of the foundation is to fund worthwhile projects in the district that provide resources to enrich student learning.”

One of our English teachers applied for a grant to purchase three classroom sets of headphones and microphones to be used by the seventh-grade English/Language Arts teacher team. This increase of technology will broaden possibilities for student growth.

Spanish Fork Junior – Jaimie Dannelly

Jaimie Dannelly, an English teacher at Spanish Fork Junior, said, “With this generous donation from the Nebo Education Foundation, our seventh-grade ELA team at Spanish Fork Junior High will be able to purchase three classroom sets of headphone/microphone sets. With this new technology, we will be able to open up a whole new world for our students! Students will be able to create videos, podcasts, and communicate with peers from different classes, different schools, and maybe even different countries! These headphones will allow students to watch a variety of educational videos without disturbing classmates and will also be a major benefit during our end-of-level tests. We have learned about so many amazing educational technology tools during online learning, and we want to continue to enhance our students' educational experience with this technology in the future; these headphones will enable us to do that!”

Congratulations to Miss Dannelly! Thank you for being a champion for students!
