The SFJHS Girls Basketball team took on rival Diamond Fork Jr. last week in a heated competition.

The game started slowly with the Lady Lobos scoring in the single digits during the first quarter.  Diamond Fork was a persistent competitor, shadowing the Lobos point for point, never far behind.

However, after halftime, the Ladies came out with a vengeance, ready to play.  They were easily able to defeat Diamond Fork’s press getting easy breakaway baskets and multiple second shot points.  They were not about to let the Diamond Backs win on their home court.

According to Coach Shea Harmer, “Spanish Fork finally put the things they had been working on in practice, into place and almost like magic; they were able to get a large lead on DFJHS.”

In the end, our Lady Lobos won by close to 20 points.  Macie Clark was our leading scorer.

Come support your Lady Lobos as they finish out the second half of their season.
