The Lady Lobos took on the Provo Bulldogs on January 5th, 2016, after a long Christmas break.  Although it had been almost 3 weeks since their last game, the girls were ready to play.  Here is a report from Coach Shea Harmer.

“Our girls played awesome!  Provo was a very physical and aggressive team but we held our own and didn't let them dictate the game.  The Lady Lobos held Provo to only scoring 6 points the entire second half with zero points being scored in the 4th quarter.  This led to a victory of 41-18.”

Top scorers were:

Maya Yeates (10 pts)

Kristin Rhees (10 pts)

Tessa Clayton (8 pts)

Always a fun one, the rivalry game between SFJH and Diamond Fork, would be the next important contest for the Lady Lobos.

Two days later, on Thursday, January 7 the Lady Lobos took on Diamond Fork and came out victorious with a win of 41-18.  YES!  The same score as the Provo game!

Coach Harmer said, “Diamond Fork always is a competitive game with lots of aggressive play and this one was no different.  The Lady Lobos fought well and came out on top.”

Lead scorers for the Lady Lobos were:

 Tessa Clayton (8 pts)

 Kate Huntsman (7 pts)

 Kristin Rhees (6pts)

On Monday, January 11th, The Lady Lobos clashed with the Springville Lady Knights.  According to Coach Harmer, “It was a hard fought battle with bumps and bruises but the Lady Lobos were able to get another victory over Springville.  It was a rough start but they were able to push through the adversity and come out on top.”

Yes they did!  The final score there was 31-17.  Top scorers were:

Maya Yeates 12 pts

Kristin Rhees 7 pts

The Lady Lobos take on Mt. Nebo on Thursday January 14th at home.
