Last Second Lay-up Beats Cavemen

Submitted by david.thacker on

In a final second squeaker, the SFJH boys’ basketball team beat the American Fork Cavemen in front of an enthusiastic Spanish Fork crowd.  At the buzzer the score was 42-41.

The Lobos battled with the Cavemen in front of a packed house.  Earlier in the afternoon, the Lady Lobos decisively beat the Cavewomen by almost 20 points.  But the boys had their work cut out for them.

Here’s what Coach Johnson reported

“Parker Swenson hit a lay-up with 10 seconds left to give us the lead.  Mason Nielson had a big block on defense while Tyson Massey jumped on the loose ball to seal the victory for the Lobos.  It was a complete team win, very fun game to be a part of.”

This Thursday come out and watch the SFJH Lobos.  This home game is a white-out.  Dress appropriately and cheer our men on to another victory!
