Parents, Students and Friends

 Parent Teacher Conferences

P/T Conferences will be held Tomorrow, February 19th, from 3:00 – 7:30p.m. Please be advised that teachers will take a dinner break in two groups at 5:30 and 6:00p.m. In order to avoid longer wait times or miss a teacher entirely it is advisable to adjust your plans around the dinner hour. Our P/T Conference is a great time to visit with teachers and discuss how your student(s) is doing in class.  Teachers will be in the cafeteria - before you head in please stop at the counseling table to pick up a copy of your student's midterm grade report.  The counseling table will be set up at the main entrance of the school, outside of the main office.

 Staff Development Day

We want to remind all parents that Wednesday, February 25th will be a district wide minimum day for staff development (SDD).  School will be released at 11:15a.m. and buses will run accordingly.  Please be aware of this shortened schedule in order to make any necessary arrangements.

 9th Grade High School Visit

Attention all 9th grade students and parents - on Wednesday, February 25th, all 9th graders will be bused to Spanish Fork High School for Sophomore Orientation.  They will receive important registration information and forms.  These forms will need to be completed and returned Thursday, February 26th, the very next day with parent signatures.  The counselors from the high school will be in our building on Thursday to help students put their class requests into the computer.  This will be done during their social studies class.  This is only for class requests.  High school class registration will be done online by you and your student starting sometime in March.  For questions about open-enrollment go to the website:  http://www.nebo.edu/information/open_enrollment

 PTA Book Fair

Our final book fair of the year is happening right now.  It is located in the room right next to the cafeteria - look for the signs.  Please make sure to take time to come in and support the PTA as they support our awesome teachers here at Spanish Fork Jr. High!  Every single bit of money the book fair makes goes directly to our teachers.
