Therefore, we ask parents to vote for 3 of the 4 nominees using the following link: SCHOOL COMMUNITY COUNCIL VOTING BALLOT

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY

Do you want to meet new people and have a great time? After school on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00, we will be playing Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering in Mr. Whiting's room, 48. Talk with him if you have any questions.

COUNSELORS MAKE IMPORTANT CONNECTIONS

The SFJH counseling staff went into all 7th grade College and Career Awareness classes last week and discussed preparing for college and future careers, developing time management skills, and making good choices.

The counselors enjoyed listening to student discussions, playing games (college and career corn hole), and leading other group activities.  It not only gave counselors an opportunity to talk to students about important subjects, but it also let the students meet their school counselors and start feeling comfortable with them.

Students--If you haven't had a chance to meet your school counselor yet, please feel free to stop by and say, "Hi."

PACK TIME

Pack Time is a 25 minute period carved in between 2nd and 3rd periods every Tu-Fr that allows students earning a D or F grade to work with their teachers on assignments and tests. It also allows for students who are earning an A, B, or C to enjoy enrichment activities ranging from free gym, open practice in the arts, writer’s group, movies, virtual reality experiences, computer labs, coding, drama, library or just chillin’ with friends in the cafeteria. The purpose of this is to allow those students needing help from the teacher to have the opportunity in a small setting for more individualized learning.  Check out the schedule by following this link: PACK TIME DAILY SCHEDULE
