 Red Ribbon Week

This Week- today, October 31st through November 4th will be our Red Ribbon week. Students are invited to participate by dressing up to show their school spirit - Monday: Halloween Costumes (scare away drugs), Tuesday: Favorite Sports Team Shirt/Jersey (team up against suicide), Wednesday: Wear Orange or Camouflage (the buck stops here, you are responsible), Thursday: Hat Day (hats off to good choices) and Friday: Wear White (fight the new drug)

 SafeUT Crisis Tipline

We are happy to announce the implementation of the SafeUT Crisis & Tipline Services. The SafeUT app provides 24/7 crisis intervention and emotional support in any type of crisis. Students can call the Crisis Line and speak directly to a crisis counselor or start a CrisisChat through the app.

Students can also send non-crisis tips to school officials regarding topics such as bullying, drug & alcohol activity, and more. All tips are completely anonymous. Students will receive training on how to use the SafeUT Crisis & Tipline Services tomorrow during PACK time. The SafeUT Mobile App is free and is available in the Apple and Google Play stores.

 ALL Students Are Invited to Join Nebo After School Clubs

Attention all Parents and Students: 4H Clubs will be starting up tomorrow, Tuesday November 1st. They start at 2:45pm and will run until 4:15pm, Tuesday thru Friday (we are still working to add a Monday club). To join a club, just fill out a registration form which you can pick up in the office and turn in when you come for the first time. It’s free to participate this term and you can join as many clubs as you like. Clubs begin each day by meeting in the Lobo Den right after school for a snack and student check in, then you will go to your selected club.   • TUESDAY- Weight Lifting with Mr. Mortimer, Magic with Mr. Moss, Costume/Sewing design with Mrs. Holley, Board Games with Mr. Palfreyman
  • WEDNESDAY- Photography with Mr. Ferrin, Greek Mythology with Mrs. Dannelly, Sewing with Mrs.Thacker
  • THURSDAY- Symphony with Mr.Carter & Mrs. Harman, Ping Pong with Mr.Johnson, Service Club with Mr. Lawrence, After School Homework Help with Mrs. Swenson, Costume/Sewing Design with Mrs. Holley, Magic with Mr. Moss
  • FRIDAY- German with Mrs.Phillips, Drum Line with Mr. Carter and Remember - Every Friday Morning join us for B-Ball in the Gym

Attend only one club or join several, it’s up to you, just remember - these clubs are gonna be a lot of fun so don’t miss out!

 Fall Dance and Carnival on Friday

All students are invited to attend the fall school dance and carnival sponsored by our student council. It will be held Friday, Nov. 4th from 6:00-8:00pm in the school gym. There will be an awesome dance and a fun fall carnival where you can play entertaining games and win cool prizes. The cost is $5 without student ID and $4 if you show your student ID and this price includes 5 carnival tickets (additional tickets 5 for $1). Dress for the dance is everyday school casual (no costumes). Mark your calendar and plan to attend.

 9th Grade Basketball Team

Tryouts for both the girls and boys 9th grade basketball team will be held next week. Boy’s tryouts begin Monday Nov.7th and girl’s tryouts will begin Tuesday, Nov. 8th. Tryouts begin immediately after school in the gyms.  If you have any questions or concerns contact Coach Harmer or Coach Johnson.

 Come-Out for Wrestling
