Lobo Update 1/22/2018
Parents, Students, and Friends –
Our Lobo Food Drive runs through this week! Utah Community Action Services and Food Bank barrels are in the front lobby, let’s fill them up! The food bank is in high need at this time of year. Put your donation in your backpack the night before school so you don’t forget! Clean out your pantry and bring what you can to donate to those in great need. It’s exciting to watch the donations come in!! Remember the winning grade gets 5 minutes extra lunch time! If you donate be sure to get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a candy bar. Thanks to all those who have dropped food off! Help us bring HOPE and HELP to our community. Let’s go LOBOs!
Applications for National Junior Honor Society are in the office TODAY. Deadline to submit your application is February 2nd!
SUCCESSFUL HOPE WEEK!
Thank you to our awesome counseling department for sponsoring all of our HOPE week activities surrounding the idea of hope and what gives us hope. Students enjoyed dressing up each day to show their spirit and we were able to have the band, Foreign Figures play for us! You can see the concert in its entirety on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/sfjhs/.
Our regular pack time will begin on Tuesday this week with additional help in Math and English. This is a 25-minute period after 2nd that runs Tuesday through Friday where students can go to teachers for help with any subject.
