End of Second Term
It’s crunch time! Second Term ends next Thursday, January 12th and most teachers will cut off grades at the beginning of next week... So that means only a few days are left to check with teachers and get any missing work gathered, completed and turned in.
Student Schedule Changes for Next Semester
With the new semester rapidly approaching we want to address the process of requesting schedule changes. Starting now, counselors will be available to make schedule changes. Please note that discussing possible schedule changes does not guarantee a student's schedule request will be granted. Once a student has spoken with a counselor and he/she has made sure that the class is not full and is logistically possible, the student will be sent to obtain teacher and parent signatures on an official add/drop class change form. Once the form is completed with all signatures and the class change fee of $5.00 has been paid, the counselor will finalize the changes and the student's new schedule will be available to view on SIS/Aspire. No schedule changes will be made once a class has reached its maximum capacity (even if a student has already obtained the needed signatures).
ALL Students Are Invited to Join Nebo Afterschool Clubs
Attention all Parents and Students: Registration for 3rd Term Nebo Afterschool Clubs will be starting TOMORROW JAN. 4th, 2017. Third term clubs will begin Tuesday, Jan. 17 on the first day of 3rd term. Students can pick up a registration form in the front office. Once the form is filled out and signed by a parent/guardian the form needs to be turned in to Mrs. Gross in the front office ASAP in order to have a spot saved for them in the club of their choice. Clubs start at 2:45pm and will run until 4:15pm daily. Students can join as many clubs as they would like but are limited to one club per day, so look through the list and see what clubs interest you most. - WEDNESDAY- Dumbledore's Army with Ms. Dannelly, Chess Club with Mr. Mortimer and Mr. Lawrence
- THURSDAY- Helping Hands Club with Mr. Lawrence, Pinterest/Disneyland Foods with Mrs. Brockbank
- FRIDAY- German Club with Mrs.Phillips, Board Games with Mr. Provstgaard and Remember - Every Friday Morning join us for B-Ball in the Gym

7th Grade Science Testing
End of level SAGE testing for students in 7th grade science during first semester will begin this week on Friday and will continue into next week. We invite all 7th graders that are in science this semester to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast so that you can be at your best during testing. If you know that you're student will not be here next week please let Mrs. Goates know so that she can work out a time for him/her to take the test.
