Parents, Students and Friends –

 Parent Teacher Conferences

P/T Conferences will be held next week on Wednesday, February 17th, from 2:30 – 7:00pm Our P/T Conference is a great time to visit with teachers and discuss how your student(s) is doing in class.  Teachers will be in the cafeteria, but before you head in, please stop at the counseling table to pick up a copy of your student's midterm grade report.  The counseling table will be set up at the main entrance of the school, outside of the main office.

PTA Book Fair

The PTA Scholastic Book Fair will be held next week - Feb. 16, 17, and 18. It will open at 7:30am each day and close at 3:15pm on Tues. and Thurs. but will remain open until 7pm on Wed. during Parent Teacher Conferences. Be aware that donation boxes for the "All for Books" program will be located next to the book fair register and on the counselor's table during PTC.  With the money you donate, The PTA will purchase additional teacher selected books from the fair. Scholastic Inc. also matches our donation, giving books to children in need through organizations such as the Kids in Need Foundation and Reader to Reader Inc.  Online ordering, benefiting our school, goes from Feb. 7-20.  Please check out our homepage by clicking this link: http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/spanishforkjuniorhighsch1  Thank you! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer at our fair, please call or text Megan Oliverson at 435-713-5228

 Spanish Fork FFA Alumni Banquet

FFA invites you to attend their annual alumni dinner and recognition evening with a fundraising auction following the dinner. It will be held February 24th at 6:30pm in the Ponderosa Building at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. All members of the community are invited to enjoy a wonderful complimentary dinner and then support FFA students by participating in the auction.

It’s Not Too Late to Join Intramurals

Intramural sports are for ALL students; 7th, 8th and 9th grade, both girls and boys and there is never a cost to participate. Indoor soccer is the current intramural and it is happening now!  To join a team and be part of indoor soccer just talk with Mr. Hawkins or Mr. Bartholomew or show up to the activity and tell the teacher you want to join in. Intramurals are held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday right after school. Please come out and participate in this fun opportunity!
