Parents, Students and Friends –

From Our PTA: March Madness Fundraiser

It's time for our March Madness PTA Fundraiser.  Your student will be bringing home a donation envelope on Monday, March 20th.  Please think about donating to your school. Read the envelope- it's funny!  All money will be used for PTA programs that benefit your student including a grant to the school for technology. The envelopes need to be signed, whether you donate or not, and sent back to the school by Friday, March 24th.  Prize drawings will happen each morning from the turned in envelopes.  We will also be giving prizes to the FIRST class with 100% turned in and to the class with the next highest percentage turned in. Thanks for your support!

 Join In for Intramural Pickleball

The SFJHS Intramural Program is a chance for students to join in with students from within our own school in fun sports. We encourage all students, boys and girls grades 7-9 to participate in intramurals. Our next sport will be PICKLEBALL and will run in the morning before school from 7:00-7:55am beginning Tuesday, March 21st and continuing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through March 30th.  Students that want to participate can visit with Mr. Carlson or Ms. Tingey to sign-up.

School Musical - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

SFJHS Theater Arts is proud to present this year’s spring musical production, "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". Most of the story takes place on an Oregon ranch, maintained by Adam Pontipee and his six brothers. When Adam brings home his new bride, Milly, she is appalled at the brothers' lack of cleanliness and manners and sets about turning them into gentlemen. Yearning to become husbands like their big brother, and following his advice, they kidnap the girls they want to marry. The fun antics of the brothers, the toe-tapping, well-known music, and energetic dancing makes this musical a "Must See."  The performance dates are: March 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 27th @ 7:00 pm; cost is $5 per person or $25 for a family. Come enjoy a terrific production!

 Lobos in Action

State FFA Convention was a success!! 15 students from SFJHS went to Cedar City to participate in leadership workshops and were recognized for their agriculture projects. 2 of those students competed and won in their division of the agriscience fair.
