Parents, Students and Friends

 End of Third Term

Please note that the end of the term is coming up quickly, on Thursday March 19th.  That is just two weeks away. Students: Please check with teachers to get any missing work gathered, completed and turned in by each teacher’s cutoff date (usually several days before that last day of the term). Parents: please encourage students to work with their teachers to get any missing work or tests finished.  Together we can achieve high levels of student success!

 Intramural and 4-H Volleyball

Volleyball is now underway and runs every day afterschool in the gym except Wednesday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays come be part of intramural volleyball - On Monday and Friday join us for 4-H volleyball. All students are welcome and encouraged to join either volleyball program (or have double the fun and join both).

 4-H Afterschool Mission to Mars

This month we are excited to offer Mission to Mars, a STEM activity (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) that teaches students how to design a full mission to Mars. It includes designing the buildings for their Martian colony, the rockets to get them there and scientific missions to explore the Red Planet. Once the planning is complete the club has the opportunity to use their teamwork and problem solving skills as they put their mission design to the test. Mission to Mars is scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning onMarch 9th. The cost is $5.00 per club if you have already enrolled in 4-H this year.  Otherwise it is $10.00 for the first club and $5.00 thereafter. Don’t delay, sign up today and tell a friend.  Pick up enrollment forms in the office.
