Parents, Students and Friends –

 End of Third Term

Please note that the end of the term is coming up quickly, on Thursday March 16th.  That is just two weeks away. Students: Please check with teachers to get any missing work gathered, completed and turned in by each teacher’s cutoff date (usually several days before that last day of the term). Parents: please encourage students to work with their teachers to get any missing work or tests finished.  Together we can achieve high levels of student success!

Follow Up from 9th Grade High School Visit

Today all 9th graders visited Spanish Fork High School for Sophomore Orientation.  They received important registration information and forms.  These forms need to be completed and returned on Wednesday, March 8th, with parent signatures.  The counselors from the high school will be in our building on Wednesday to help students begin the registration process.  This will be done during their social studies class.

 Honors English for Next Year

Any 7th or 8th grader wanting to enroll in Honors English for next year must turn in their application form to their English Teacher and then come after school on Wednesday, March 8th or Thursday, March 9th to take the Honors English qualifying test. Students will need to take the test before any considerations for Honors English will be made for next year. The test will take 45-60 minutes. If you have questions about this process speak with your English teacher or a counselor.

 Lobos in Action

Congratulations to Cameron Campbell, he has recently qualified to compete in the state level National Geographic Bee competition!
