 Outstanding Educator

Congratulations to Señor Moss for receiving the Outstanding Educator Award for PTA Region 10 (Nebo, Provo, Tintic & Juab districts)!  He is recognized for the positive impact he makes in the lives of those around him, Spanish 1 & 2 students he teaches, coaching the tennis team, and so much more.  He was nominated by our SFJHS PTA Presidency and his students. He was recognized for this awesome accomplishment today during a PTA luncheon by the Region 10 PTA VP and will now advance to the State level. Way to go Señor Moss!

 PTA Book Fair Results

Thank you to all who supported the PTA Book Fair. We had over 70 hours of volunteer time.  We were able to give our classrooms over $600 in books and earned an additional $637 to purchase more.  Some of this will go to the library and some to classrooms. Your "All for Books" donations bought books for our newest English teacher's classroom, Jaimie Dannelly.  Thanks again for supporting our school.

Award Earned for PTA Membership Increase

SFJHS PTA was recognized today by receiving the Double Your Membership Award.  The PTA Presidents and Board thank our 178 members for being involved, making a difference and supporting SFJHS PTA, students and teachers!

PTA March Maddness Fundraiser to Begin Soon

What is March without a little basketball madness? Watch for our upcoming March Madness Fundraiser. More info to come!

 Reflections Honorable Mention at State

Congratulations to Mia McCune! She received an Honorable Mention in Film Production at the State level.  Only 4 students in Nebo School District received awards at this level.  Way to go Mia - yet another success of one of our students!

 FFA Week

Last week FFA chapters across the nation as well as our own chapter right here at SFJHS celebrated National FFA Week - activities included giving muffins to all faculty members to show appreciation for being such great teachers, an ice skating night with other FFA chapters from the area and of course on Wednesday, the Alumni Banquet and fund raiser auction, which was an amazing success! Other fun activities of the week involved FFA members visiting the Veteran’s Home and giving anyone in Ms. Warren’s classes a treat  if they were wearing FFA apparel.  FFA week was such a great success - Thank you to everyone, who helped make it that way!  Click here to see fun pictures and more details of our FFA week - http://pub.lucidpress.com/sfhsffafeb16/
