Lobo Track Team Needs You!
The Lobo track team will be hosting our first track meet of the season Friday, April 24th at Spanish Fork HS. We are in desperate need of parent volunteers to help run this event from 1:45 to approx. 5:00pm. Volunteers would mainly help with timing, collecting student name tags after each race, and helping to organize students at the start/finish lines. If you are interested in being a hero to the Lobo track team, please contact Coach Zacharias at firstname.lastname@example.org
Need for Substitute Teachers
Parents: If you are interested in substitute teaching, please be aware that there is a real need for your help; at times substitute teaching positions remain unfilled here at SFJHS and across the district. So that you are aware, subs are able to choose the location and the dates of availability with no minimum commitment per month. If you would be willing to apply for a substitute teacher or technician position, please visit the Utah Kelly Educational Staffing webpage at http://www.kesutah.appone.comor send an email inquiry to email@example.com
Lobos in Action
We want to extend heartfelt congratulations to the students and staff involved with the recent school musical production of Robin Hood: The Courtship of Allan A'Dale - They did a great job!
Also - kudos go out to all the students and staff in Concert Band and Jazz Band. They recently earned superior ratings at their respective district assessments - a superior rating is the highest ratings available. Way to go!
8th Grade Science Fair Winner
Congratulations to our own 8th grade student Mandee Insalaco for winning the BYU Science Fair. As the Jr. Division Grand Champion she has been invited to participate in the National Science Fair and will represent Utah for Behavioral and Social Sciences. In addition to her first place finish, she also won the American Physiological Association Award and the Broadcom MASTERS competition award, as well as a cash prize. Way to go Mandee!
