Parents, Students and Friends –

Counseling Needs Assessment (thanks for being patient with the technical difficulties)

If you haven’t been able to take this survey yet, the SFJHS Counselors are asking you to please login and complete it. The survey feedback will help our counselors better meet your needs and the needs of your students in the future. The URL link sent last week is fatally flawed so to access the survey you need to follow these instructions: Go to www.CTESurveys.com  - Click "Take a Survey" in upper right corner - Enter Code: S52KA7 - Make sure to select Spanish Fork Jr. High from the drop down menu.  Sorry, this is not quite as easy as a direct URL link. You may print out the confirmation page and have your student bring it to the Counseling Office for a treat. (Or you can bring it in and get the treat yourself!)

Annual Spring Hike for ALL Students

All 7th, 8th and 9th graders are invited to join the annual SFJHS Spring Hike - we want as many people as possible! It will happen Tuesday, May 17th beginning at 8:00am to approx. 3:00pm. You will need to complete a physical test and a written test before you are allowed to participate. The physical test will be held on May 2nd or May 9th right after school in the girl’s gym.  Sign up with Coach Johnson today!

 Lagoon Day - May 25th

Information and permission slips regarding this year’s Lagoon Day on May 25th will be coming home with students on Friday, May 6th. Bus ticket sales will begin on Monday, May 9th and continue until available buses fill up. Bus tickets will cost $15 and entrance tickets to Lagoon are $33. Students will purchase their bus ticket in the front office and will purchase their entrance ticket when they arrive at Lagoon. Please be aware of the following criteria for participation in Lagoon Day: Citizenship grade cannot be an N or U in more than 1 class; all outstanding balances for lunch and/or other school fees must be paid; all detentions must be served.

Lunch Accounts and Other School Fees and Fines

The school year is quickly winding down and with that we remind parents to make sure that your student’s lunch balance is caught up and kept current.  Also, please make sure any outstanding balances for school fees or fines are taken care of ASAP with Mrs. Hall in the front office.  PLEASE BE AWARE that in order to receive a year book on May 26th and to qualify for Lagoon all outstanding balances owed must be paid in full. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

 Lost and Found

Students - Did you lose a coat, book or something else this year?  If so please come check the lost and found table in front of the office.
