PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND FRIENDS,

We have two weeks of school remaining and we are working daily with students to finish assignments, tests, and projects for their classes. We ask parents to check students’ grades frequently and have conversations with them about work completion and turning in work. We want every student to succeed.

TERM 4 REPORT CARDS

This year we will NOT print Term 4 report cards for mailing. Parents and students may go onto Aspire BEFORE JULY 1 and print the report card. The Aspire system will be rolled into the 2018-2019 school year on July 1 and 2017-2018 information will no longer be available.

LOCKER CLEANOUT

First locker cleanout will be during Pack Time on Thursday, May 17th. Please plan to clean out and take home all items you won’t need for the last few days of school. On Wednesday, May 23rd during the last 20 minutes of school, all students will conduct final locker clean out.  Students will need to take absolutely everything home and won’t have locker access for the rest of the week.

SUMMER LIBRARY DATES

Students are invited to access the library during the summer break. Here are the summer dates: Tuesday, June 5th; Monday, July 16th; Wednesday, August 1st.  School doors will be open from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Just come in and go to the Library - Mrs. Wilson will be here ready to help you!

LAST CALL FOR LIBRARY BOOKS

Parents and Students: Please be on the lookout for any books belonging to SFJHS Library. If your student has a fine or overdue book, they were notified with a reminder slip. We have a great school library, with a wonderful collection. Please help us keep it that way by returning all books. Thank you so much for your help. If you have any questions talk to Mrs. Wilson in the library.

LUNCH ACCOUNTS AND OTHER SCHOOL FEES AND FINES

The school year is quickly winding down and with that we remind parents to make sure that your student’s lunch balance is caught up and kept current.  Also, please make sure any outstanding balances for school fees or fines are taken care of ASAP with Mrs. Hall in the front office. PLEASE BE AWARE that in order to receive a yearbook on May 23rd and to qualify for Lagoon all outstanding balances owed must be paid in full. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
