Library Notice
Parents and Students: Please be on the lookout for any books belonging to SFJHS Library. If your student has a fine or overdue book, they were notified this week with a reminder slip. We have a great school library, with a wonderful collection. Please help us keep it that way by returning all books. Thank you so much for your help. If you have any questions talk to Mrs. Wilson in the library.

Spirit Day - May Madness Every Friday
All students are invited to participate in the following school Spirit Days - May 8: Lobo Day--Show school spirit by wearing school colors and Lobo attire. May 15: Hat day--This needs no explanation but maybe a caution: Keep your hands off of others' hats, Bruh!  May 22: Hawaiian Day--Aloha! Come to school prepared to hula and get in the groove for that night's dance/luau on the tennis courts!

Thanks PTA for the New Math Technology
The PTA was able to grant $500 to the school due to the wonderful support we got from the March Madness fundraiser.  These funds will be matched by the Nebo Foundation and will go toward purchasing interactive white boards for the math department.  Thank you to all who support our PTA, and our wonderful school and staff!

PTA Needs you!
The PTA is looking for more people to be involved in the fun activities of our school!  In particular, we need someone to help with the fundraiser for next year, Reflections, teacher birthdays, and Munchie Mondays (treats for the staff once a month).  For those who may have volunteered on the elementary school level, please know that volunteering at the junior high school level is much less intense!  If you are interested, please call Christine Musick (801-369-3101) or Nicole Norris (801-798-0335).  And look for our table at the open house in August to sign up to help in a wide variety of ways!

Lunch Accounts and Other School Fees and Fines
The school year is quickly winding down and with that we remind parents to make sure that your student’s lunch balance is caught up and kept current.  Also, please make sure any outstanding balances for school fees or fines are taken care of ASAP with Mrs. Hall in the front office.  PLEASE BE AWARE that in order to receive a year book on May 28th and to qualify for Lagoon all outstanding balances owed must be paid in full. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Lagoon Information
Wednesday, May 27th is Lagoon day.  Information and permission slips will be coming home with students this Friday, May 8th. Bus ticket sales will begin on Monday, May 11th and continue until available bus seats fill up. Bus tickets will cost $15 and entrance to Lagoon is $31. Students will purchase their bus ticket in the front office and will purchase their entrance ticket when they arrive at Lagoon. Please be aware of the following criteria for Lagoon attendance: Citizenship grades cannot be an N or U in more than 1 class; all outstanding balances for lunch and/or other school fees must be paid; all detentions must be served.
