Picture Day Reminder

Picture day will be on Friday, August 21st. Packets were sent home with students today, August 19th (the first day of school). If you choose to purchase a picture package your student should return the packet and money on Aug 21st and give it directly to the photographers.  All students will have their picture taken whether or not you decide to purchase a picture package, so that it can be used for their student ID card and for the year book.

 Join Cross Country

Anyone interested in being part of Cross Country this fall is invited to attend an information meeting on Tuesday, August 25th in the boy’s gym directly after school at 2:45pm.  All students are invited and encouraged to participate in cross country. Cross Country is open to all students, grades 7 through 9 and we would like to have a big team represent us each week in district meets.

Join Us in the First Annual SFJHS Mt. Loafer Hike

The first annual Mt. Loafer hike will take place on Friday September 11th this year.  This hike is for any 7th, 8th or 9th grade boy or girl that would like to participate.  There will be an informational meeting directly after school, 2:45 pm on Monday August 24th, in the boy’s gym.  Those wanting to attend will need to pass and complete a physical test as well as a written test on back country safety.  This is an awesome, fun opportunity for everyone.  Come and join the excitement and make great memories with friends.  Talk to Coach Johnson with any questions that you may have.
