Parents, Students and Friends –

 HOPE SQUAD APPLICATIONS

The HOPE Squad is a Peer Support team whose goals are to provide service and support to students and the community, to prevent bullying, youth suicide and suicidal behaviors. HOPE Squad members are friends to everyone and willing to help out and assist in groups and where needed. If you are interested in becoming a member of HOPE Squad, please get an application from the counseling office. Applications are due by September 14th.

 FALL HIKERS

A reminder to all you hikers! The fall hike is this Thursday! All permission slips need to be turned into Coach Johnson by Wednesday! You also need to pay your $5 bus fee to Mrs. Hall in the office by Wednesday.

 FFA

8th and 9th graders who have Ms. Warren's class now or next semester! If you are interested in being in FFA you need to pay your dues by this Friday, the 15th to Mrs. Hall in the finance office.

 COUNSELING CENTER:  GUEST SPEAKERS WANTED. 

The counselors would like our students to become more aware of the many career choices students have.  We are looking for people with interesting careers to come and share information about their career during our Pack-time from 9:35-10:05 Tuesday-Friday.  If you would be willing to share your experience with our students call or email Travis Palfreyman or any of the school counselors.

 PTA BOOK FAIR

Our PTA sponsored Scholastic book fair will be held Tues, Sept. 26 - Thurs, Sept. 28, 2017 in the small faculty room next to the Little Theater.  Book Fair hours will be Tues. and Wed. 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thurs. 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.going through Parent Teacher Conferences.  All money earned will buy more books for the your student's classroom. Please come by and support your students and teachers. 

 PTA REFLECTIONS

Would you like to dance, produce a film, write a poem or story, compose a song, take a picture or create a piece of art?  This year PTA's Reflections theme is "Within Reach". Pick up a PTA Reflections form from the office or your teacher and get creative!  Entries are due the Monday after Fall Break, October 23 by 3:00 p.m. More information and entry forms can also be found at www.UtahPTA.org/Reflections

Soccer intramurals begin on September 19th, see Coach Johnson or Coach Carlson for details!

  • Sept 12: GOLF MEET @ Spanish Oaks, 12:00pm
  • Sept 13: Fall Hike Permission Slips and bus fee due, Nebo School Board Meeting at District Office, 6:00PM
  • Sept 14: HOPE Squad Applications Due
  • Sept 15: Basketball Intramurals-6am, Cross Country @ Mapleton JHS-3:30pm
  • Sept 18: Half Day School – Staff Development Day – School Dismisses at 11:15am
  • Sept 19: Soccer Intramurals Begin, 2:45pm
