Recently, the Food Exploration classes saw something amazing. soup made from a stone! The day before, every period of cut up vegetables such as tomatoes, corn, and onions, while other classmates cooked meat and made noodles. After adding all of the ingredients together they set it aside for the next day.

The following day, Mrs. Larson read a story called Stone Soup to her classes.  Then students cooked the soup and served this amazing meal known as Stone Soup. Many of her Food Exploration students said the soup was delicious, and it was also one of the most fun labs the class has done so far this semester.

If you want the recipe, go on line or talk with Mrs. Larsen, the Foods teacher in room 50!
