Do you have a dream of becoming a famous actor or musician? Well, many students have just that chance in the Spanish Fork High School Musical, She Loves Me!

The auditions for the play were October 3rd-4th, with the callbacks the day after. The musical is an adaptation of the 1937 play Parfumerie by Hungarian playwright Miklos Laszlo. She Loves Me! is a romantic comedy where the two main characters Amelia and George work together in a perfume shop and have disliked each other from the very beginning. At the end of each workday, they each write love letters to a penpal, who happens to be the other--they just don’t know it yet.

For the auditions, students had to sing and dance a part from the musical. One hopeful actor was Tremaine Lomax, who said that it was anerve-wracking feeling. The nerves built up to the most in the room you are put into to warm up. But one I was out there on the stage it wasn't as bad”

Final picks for the parts were posted this weekend, and all of the aspiring actors and actors can now strut their stuff on stage during the performance of the play, which will be shown December 13-15. Get your tickets early!
