I grew up in southern Nevada, near Las Vegas. I graduated from BYU in Math Education and am excited to teach where I student-taught! My husband is from Springville, UT so I really enjoy this area. We have a sweet pet rabbit, Grace Hopper (named after a mathematician, of course). I love to read, knit, hand-letter, and do basically anything crafty.

I am excited for my eighth and ninth-grade math classes, both of which I love to teach! I hope that I can help students learn to appreciate (if not love) math the way I have. I used to despise math in school - it was my worst subject! But after I started learning it in a new way, I recognized some of the amazing things it can do. I also realized that I could understand it! I really hope I can help my students see math a little differently and maybe even enjoy it.
