My name is Melynn Jackson and I’ll be teaching Secondary Math 1 and Math 7 this school year. I was raised on a cattle farm in Benjamin and now I live in Santaquin with my husband and our daughter. My daughter (Nora) is 5 months old and probably the most smiley, easy going baby I’ve known. I absolutely adore her and could talk about her all day if I could.

When I have free time I like to run. In fact, I ran cross country for SFJHS years ago. I also like to travel, go camping, ride horses, play games, and spend time with family. My go to book is Harry Potter. If I can’t find something to read I always happily pull up a Harry Potter book. I’ve read the series a number of times.

I am excited to be back at Spanish Fork Jr. High as a teacher. My love for the subject was influenced by a teacher that I had in high school and I hope to be that kind of influence on my students.
