This last weekend, on April 20 and 21, members of our school’s National Junior Honor Society joined together to help with a BSA Eagle Project. The Eagle Project was for Caleb Pollock, a student at our school. The project began with clearing rocks from the school’s field. Shortly afterward, the volunteers helped to clear rocks off the retaining walls on the east side of the school. The next morning, the rocks were completely removed and the volunteers helped to spread mulch where the rocks had been. The area is now much safer without rocks falling from the walls, and it looks better too. The project was a great opportunity to help out a fellow member of our school and volunteer.
