Great news just in from Mrs. Harman, Spanish Fork Junior High’s premier orchestra teacher:

“I have some news! Each of the SFJHS orchestras performed recently at the UVU junior high orchestra festival where they were evaluated by two judges.”

“Students performed very well and each SFJHS group received '1' Superior rating from both judges.  Judges also had great things to say about each group.  Judges are always stunned to learn that the Beginning orchestra students really just started this year—our beginning students are so successful with challenging music.”

“To the intermediate orchestra, judges said, ‘you didn't just play notes...it was so musical and expressive! That's something you don't normally hear in a junior high group.’”

“The judges complimented the Advanced orchestra on their performance and their strength in bringing out melodies with excellent intonation.  I am proud of our wonderful orchestra students!”

Thanks for sharing your success.  Here’s another example of the excellence at Spanish Fork Junior High!
