Opening night for our school musical, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, will be March 20, 2013 at 7:30 PM. It is based on Mark Twain’s novel, the story of a man from Connecticut who somehow travels back in time to the court of the legendary King Arthur.

The Lobo Howl interviewed Ms. Holly, our drama teacher and asked, for a play this big, who pulls the strings to make it possible?

“I do. Without me this play wouldn't be possible, I bring in everything,” laughed Ms. Holly.

But it’s something Ms. Holly loves doing.  “I love my Shakespeare team, but I enjoy having the school play. It's fun and not as serious as my Shakespeare team.”

Many SFJH students are participating.  The cast has worked hard on this play  for the past two months.  They include.: Alyssa White (Lady Alisande), Caleb Haugen (Hank Morgan), Gavin *Russel Henry (King Aurthur), Jewel Carter (Jester), Kelsie Richards (Queen Guenevere), Lily Bingham (Hercules/Lady), Mateen Lomax (Sir Lancelot), Mckenzie Oyler (Lady Dinadin), Sarah Clayson (Mrs. Benvie/Chorus), Talia McKinney (Merlin), Tani Lee (Morgan La Fey), Thomas Stephens (Sir Sagamore), Tori Crane (Lady Kay), and the Lobo howls very own, Tristan Anderson (Clara, the page).

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court will run for four days, March 20-22 and March 25.  The play will be approximately an hour and a half in length.

This reporter encourages everyone to attend this year’s school musical. Everyone is welcome.
