Spanish Fork Junior High was selected by TRW (Theatrical Rights Worldwide) to be the first school ever to produce its new show CURTANS Young@Part.

TRW, an organization whose purpose is to bring musical theater to “ anyone who wants to experience and share the joy of live musical theatre,” said it was “thrilled that SFJHS Drama, under the direction of Kris Holley and her talented team, has agreed to beta test CURTAINS Young@Part. The final transition from page to stage is best served in the hands of talented young actors under the guidance of a creative director. The next steps will include the creation of the final script, a comprehensive Director’s Guide and performance tracks, so that thousands of students and their audiences will enjoy CURTAINS Young@Part for years to come.”

Here is a brief summary of the show:  It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage the entire cast & crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan! Mystery, comedy, romance, and craziness ensues as the detective does his job and tries to revive the show.

For a wonderful evening of fun, come on out and see the show on March 23, 24, and 28 at 7:00 pm and March 26th at 2:00 pm in the Spanish Fork Little Theatre.

Break a leg, Lobos!
