We recently had the opportunity to compete in a Christmas Tree decorating activity at Young Living Lavender Farms where we competed against Payson, Mt. Nebo, and Juab FFA. Our FFA Officers really enjoyed the experience from planning and designing, to the last step of putting the topper on the tree for thousands of people to see. It was a great opportunity for us to shed some light upon our hidden talents in tree decorating and make Christmas just a little bit better for a family in need. We look forward to this activity every year! The Officer Team would like to thank all of the FFA members who donated decorations for the tree and to all of those who voted for the Spanish Fork FFA tree on Saturday! Image removed.

Mr. Johnson, SFJH CTE Teacher said of the event, "Shout out to Chaleesa Warren and the FFA for the nice tree decoration.  The students put a lot of thought and effort into designing the ornaments that they put on the tree."

Mr. Johnson added, "Besides the cool trees the schools decorated there was story time with "The Grinch" with pictures afterwards and wagon rides that took you around the facility to see the displays and check out their elk and white bison herds. Also, there were reindeer and beautiful horses to admire and pet, Santa Claus to visit and Mrs. Claus to make cookies with, and a live nativity as the main event.  The nativity had live camels, donkey, horses, talented singers and a rocked out angel.  Not to mention there was also free hot chocolate or cider. I'm really looking forward to going again next year."
