SFJH Lady Lobos Have What It Takes

Submitted by david.thacker on

Our Spanish Fork Lady Lobos basketball team has represented our school well! They have only lost four games, winning at least eight! Their last regular season game was on January 30, but the season won’t end for them until the District Tournament!

This reporter had a chance to interview two players, Lauren Roberts and Kaylee Hudson.

Lauren is a guard. She thinks that she can personally do better by, “Playing better!  I think I could take more shots during the game and not foul as much-- because I foul a lot!” Lauren also plays soccer and runs track.  But  she says the reason she tried out for the team was because, “My friends were trying out.”  She thinks it’s a great way to stay in shape for track.

Kaylee Hudson is a guard on the team. Kaylee says she can do better by, “Putting more time in to practicing so that I can perform better in games.” Kaylee enjoys playing softball. She chose to play on the basketball team because it's what she loves to do.

Congratulations to our school's girls' basketball team.  They’ve put a lot of time and effort into this winning season.  Good luck to them as they are entering the tournament; they will represent our school well!
