On Friday February 8, the Spanish Fork Junior High choirs went on a field trip to the Grizzlies Hockey Game in West Valley City. The buses left shortly after four and arrived with plenty of time to do a sound check, find their seats, and explore the Maverik Center. Just before the opening lineup, the choirs were brought out onto the ice. After the opening lineup was announced, the entire Grizzlies team warmed up on the ice, skating around the choirs. Once they got everyone's attention, they all faced the flag while the Spanish Fork Junior High choirs sang "God Bless America" followed by another choir singing "The National Anthem." Both of the choirs sounded amazing! When the game began, they went to sit at their seats and cheer with their friends as the Grizzlies took on the Steelheads.

When the game ended, they went to the bus and left to go back. There was a fun sing along party with Disney songs on the bus. The trip was amazing and the game was very entertaining. As an added bonus, the Grizzlies won the game 4 to 3!
