Spirit Week kicked off on Monday September 19th with Sports Day.  Students showed up in jersey's or other clothing displaying their favorite sports teams.  Tuesday was Clash Day.  Many students wore clashing outfits.  This was one of the most successful days the week.

On Wednesday, more than 100 students showed up dressed as nerds, proving we all have a little geek inside us. Decade’s Day was Thursday.  Students warped back to 1970's disco, 1980's bright colors, 1960's hippies, greasers from the 1950's, and even pioneers from the 1800's!  It was the 2nd most popular day this week.

Last was Spirit Day on Friday.  We all watched as many students, mostly 7th graders, showed up in school shirts, showing that our school probably has the most spirit in Nebo School District.

Spirit Week ended with the first dance of the year held on Friday, September 23, 2011,  and it was a big hit with everyone-- especially the 7th graders who had never been to a dance before.  According to a few of them, they thought it was one of the coolest things they had ever been to.

Spirit Dance activities included Minute to Win It games like “baby bottle chugging challenge” and “Junk in the Trunk.”  There was a concession table selling water bottles.  The DJ was really fun and got everyone moving on the dance floor.  There were girls and boys choice dances, and many fun prize giveaways! And at the end the Spirit King and Queen were announced bringing an end to the dance and Spirit Week!
