Following up the success of this year’s fall hike, Coach Garrett Johnson led another intrepid group of students on another hike this week.  Students had to meet specific fitness requirements prior to the hike and be willing to get up earlier than usual.  The turnout was great, so it looks like this activity is a keeper!  Her is Coach Johnson’s report:

“We had a great time on the spring hike.  We started at the Sports Park and walked up the River Trail to Canyon View Park.  We took a quick rest there, and then continued onto the cross on the hill.”

“We made it to the top of the mountain and ate lunch.  After hiking back down to Canyon View Park and eating a Popsicle, we headed back down to the sports park.  All in all we covered 12.44 miles and had a great time enjoying the beauty of our little town.  Spanish Fork is awesome!”

Thanks Coach for helping to make SFJH a great place to be!
