Teacher of the month for September

Brian James Hubbard

Our  Teacher of the Month began his teaching career by earning his degree at BYU.  He has taught social studies for seventeen years.  He taught two years in Ogden, and the remaining fifteen years have been here at Spanish Fork Junior High.  Mr. Hubbard  has also served in various leadership capacities in addition to his teaching responsibilities for our school.

Every one who  knows Mr. Hubbard  knows  he always puts his students first.  If you have ever been talking with him and a student approaches, he will always put the student first and come back to you after he has taken care of the student.  His past students are continuously coming back to visit their favorite teacher because he makes every student feel important.  One students recently wrote, “Mr. Hubbard is the best teacher I have ever had.  He helped me learn and was so kind to me.”

Mr. Hubbard is the master at classroom management and organization.  As each school year starts, he always sets his students up for success by effectively communicating his class expectations.  Then as the school year progresses, his students know how to be and are very successful in his class.  He seldom if ever has discipline problems because his classroom management skills and organization keeps his students focused on learning from day one.  Mr. Hubbard is a great treasure to Spanish Fork Junior High School and its students!
