In Mr. Madsen’s 7th-grade science class, students tested the Popsicle stick bridges they had made over the course of the week.

The bridge had to span over a foot, and you could use up to 100 Popsicle sticks. They were held together with glue. The goal was to hold 1 kilogram, and students just stacked weights on until it broke.

Students were learning about building design against natural disasters. In the image, you can see some high scores. The highest score was 117.5 pounds, which was made by Brighten B. and Elijah L.
