SFJHS Parents and Guardians,
As directed by Nebo School District in accordance with the State of Utah, SFJHS will dismiss beginning March 16, 2020 for two weeks. We will begin At Home Instruction on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. As public educators, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a well-rounded education to our students and we know you want this for your children as well. We are committed to proactively provide quality instruction during this period of time.
At Home Learning will have a different timeline than that of a regular day when school is in session. All teachers will be delivering their content on Canvas. We are keeping in mind that we are nearing the end of Term 3 and students need to finish work. Teachers are working the next two days to prepare for At Home Learning which is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, March 18. We suggest talking with your student about the instruction our teachers will provide online during the dismissal. Teachers are dedicated to offering a rich educational experience to all students and will set clear expectations for completion of assignments and tasks.
We know this is a difficult time for many families and reiterate what State Superintendent Sydney Dickson said in Governor Herbert’s press conference today, “To be clear, we are in prevention mode, not reaction mode. We are not reacting to a confirmed COVID-19 case in any of our schools, rather we are entering a critical new phase in the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19.”

GRAB AND GO Breakfast is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and GRAB AND GO lunch is available from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
